Hand wash cycle, gentle cycle machine washable in warm or cold water, do not wash in hot water. Dried on low heat or dry naturally, additionally iron it when they are still damp to remove creases and wrinkles. Wipe clean, dry clean, and do not bleach. Bleaching is not recommended because it can discolor and weaken the fibers. Linen fabric should never be twisted or scrubbed, as these can damage the fibers as well.

How to measure the pleated curtains?

Panel width is the width that pleats are already set. 180%-220% fabric width is used for pleats and folds to create the finished width you order.

We usually suggest the curtain width is 1x of the curtain rod/track. For example, if the rod or track length is 100 inches, add possible overlap and gap privacy, then order 1 panel 100 inches wide or 2 panels each 50 inches wide.

Length is measured from the eyelet ring where the curtain hooks are attached to the floor.

7 Types of Pleated Header Style

Pinch Pleat

The curtain width is suggested 1x of the curtain rod. Length is suggested measuring from the eye ring where the curtain hooks are attached.

Pleat length 3-1/8 inches. Pleat depth 1 inch. White back tape width 3-1/8 inches. Side hem 1 inch, bottom hem 4 inches.

Panel width is the width that pleats are already set. 1.8X fabric usage in default to create pleats and folds. Panel width is from left pleat end to right pleat end, instead of left curtain side hem to right curtain side hem.

The pin hook has a ratchet system to make them adjustable. Pin hooks are included, but drapery rod rings are not included. Pin hooks height adjustable within 3 inches.

It works for the track, traverse rod, channel rod, and pole with rings.

Tailor Pleat

Tailor pleats are more gathered than other headings and have permanent sewn-in pleats.

Panel width is the width that pleats are already set. 180% fabric width is used for pleats.

Pleats space apart 5.5-6.5 inches., and metal pin hooks are included.

It works for the track, traverse rod, channel rod, and pole with rings.

Tape Pleat

3 IN 1 construction, the back tab for rod, rod ring clip, and rod with ring eyelet.

Panel width is the width that pleats are already set. 180% fabric width is used for pleats and folds.

Metal hooks are inserted every 8 slots. Metal hook space distance 4 3/4 inches. Side hem 1 inch, bottom hem 3 1/8 inches.

Invert Pleated Box

It is formed by two equal folds of fabric folded toward one another so they meet at the center of the pleat on the front of the fabric. It is what a box pleat looks like from behind.

For pleated curtains, we will suggest the curtain width is 1x of the curtain rod/track, measuring the length from the eye ring where the curtain hooks are attached.

For pleated curtains, the panel width is the width that pleats are already set. 1.8X-2.2X fabric usage in default to create pleats and folds. And panel width is from the left pleat end to the right pleat end, instead of the left curtain side hem to the right curtain side hem.

Since pleats are permanently sewn to make, you don't need to consider more width for fullness. We normally make them in 180%-220% fullness. For example, if the rod or track length is 100 inches, you may order 2 panels each 50 inches wide for pleated header style.

Normally stacking width accounts for 20% of the ordered width. So we would like to remind you that if you want the window opening to show completely when the drapery is opened, please make sure to consider stacking width when you decide on rod length.

The order comes with hooks, and you need to purchase rod rings separately.

Pleats pin hooks quantity: 10 pleats for 50" width; 13 pleats for 72" width; 15 pleats for 84" width; 19 pleats for 100" width; 21 pleats for 110" width, 23 pleats for 120" width, 27 for 150" width. The width and space of the pleats may vary slightly depending on your track or pole length.
