Cotton is not only incredibly soft, but it is also surprisingly durable. You can stay warm and comfortable if you choose 100% cotton. Cotton also retains its shape very well.
Cotton is great because, despite being an all-natural material, it has no odors. You won't have to wash it right away, nor will you have to wash it repeatedly to get rid of odors. It absorbs stinky substances more readily than other fabrics in the washing machine.
Cotton is completely natural because it is derived from cotton plants. The fibers are then baled and spun into usable thread after being harvested and processed through gins. Cotton is an annual renewable resource that is also biodegradable. So, if you're concerned about the environment, 100% cotton is an excellent choice.
Cotton is a true all weather fabric, is extremely breathable, which is one of its main advantages. Its fibre structure keeps you cool in the summer whilst providing a layer of added insulation in the winter.
One of the things that makes cotton special is its strength. In fact, when cotton gets wet it is actually stronger, which is the opposite of most cellulose fibres such as rayon (wood pulp).
Cotton fabrics have long been recommended for those with sensitive skin. The fabric does not cause skin allergies. Cotton's natural properties make it a soft and comfortable material that will not irritate the skin. Cotton is less likely than other fabrics to cause an allergic reaction.
How to measure the pleated curtains?
Panel width is the width that pleats are already set. 180%-220% fabric width is used for pleats and folds to create the finished width you order.
We usually suggest the curtain width is 1x of the curtain rod/track. For example, if the rod or track length is 100 inches, add possible overlap and gap privacy, then order 1 panel 100 inches wide or 2 panels each 50 inches wide.
Length is measured from the eyelet ring where the curtain hooks are attached to the floor.
